Wet Coast Racing leads Porsche Challenge

After seven exciting events in Austin's Race Across America, Wet Coast Racing is proud of their star driver, Fred O'Nuttin. Despite setbacks and suspected sabotage attempts, Fred still leads the Slot.it Porsche Challenge with 222 points in the LMP standings!

It being happy hour, Fred was unfortunately unavailable for comment ...

Sabotage? Are you talking about the warped rear frame, the tons of battleship gray paint inside, the globs of glue on the motor, the continual stream of stripped gears, and the famous motor shaft that was shortened too much?

Nah. That was all part of the Grand Design at Wet Coast Racing.

I drove both cars at East New York Raceway, during the RAA Icebreaker, and they were FAST. No problem in the speed and handling department. Too bad WCR can't support a 1967-1979 entry in the Global Proxy Race. How about a nice Porsche 917K, or a slightly used Mustang?

I dunno folks ... some are meant to blog, and some are meant to be blogged I guess. Thing is, I just noticed now that Robert said something ... sometime ... ago probably. That's how often I stop by. Sad, isn't it? But ya see, the last time I tried to blog (figured I would enjoy crowing over my podiums in Colorado and Sydney) around the time I hit Enter everything just disappeared. Very discouraging. So, maybe I will blogged, and maybe I will have blogging done to me. But rest assured, I do appreciate your kindness and support, gents. Perhaps I should in fact blog more often, and more deeply. But it ain't right without bananas.
